Surrounded by railroad tracks, motorways and residential areas, there is place in the outskirts of the city I lived that became sort of my adult life playground for a while. Over the course of three years I dedicated myself to exploring all of its nooks and crannies, mostly on foot, usually at dawn and always on my own.
What started out as a series of random walks slowly turned into some kind of conquest plan. By walking the same paths again and again I was taking over (figuratively speaking, of course) those pine and oak woods, that abandoned fam, those dry creeks, that pond… while I was giving all of them a whole new meaning as new fictitious places in my imagination, according to my film, literary and photographic influences.
